Who? Austin District holds community budget.
Who is involved? The city of Austin.
Who does/did the situation affect? It affected the schools by laying off hundreds of employees to help close an anticipated $94.4 million shortfall.
Who said so? The Aisd Administration And the city of austin

What is happening? The Administration decided to make budget cuts to Save money from the 94.4 million dollar shortfall.
What did happen? Austin is suffering from a money shortfall so they decided to cut back and they started with the schools.
What are the consequences? Many teachers in different fields are going to lose their jobs.
What is different about this? That Austin had too make a major sacrifice.
What are the choices? Fire teachers or close schools

How many people does this affect? They are cutting 1,153 jobs
How do you feel about this? Im upset that they would start with the schools because we need education.
